The asset is still down 88% from its all-time high of $3,191.93 set nearly nine years ago, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coingecko.com\" target=\"_blank\">CoinGecko<\/a> data.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The market\u2019s underlying volatility and bullish sentiment were reflected in predictions market Myriad, owned by <\/span><i><span>Decrypt\u2019s<\/span><\/i><span> parent company DASTAN, where the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/myriad.markets\/markets\/will-zcash-hit-369-before-november\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow external noopener\"><span>chance<\/span><\/a><span> of Zcash hitting $369 was resolved after the token hit a high of $374.4 on Sunday.<\/span><\/p>\n<div><a href=\"https:\/\/aleo.org\/solutions\/?utm_source=decrypt&#038;utm_medium=native_placement&#038;utm_campaign=sero_affiliate_program\" rel=\"nofollow noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" alt width=\"970\" height=\"250\" decoding=\"async\" data-nimg=\"1\" src=\"https:\/\/img.decrypt.co\/insecure\/rs:fit:3840:0:0:0\/plain\/https:\/\/cdn.decrypt.co\/wp-content\/themes\/decrypt-media\/assets\/images\/aleo\/desktop.png@webp\"><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" alt width=\"300\" height=\"250\" decoding=\"async\" data-nimg=\"1\" src=\"https:\/\/img.decrypt.co\/insecure\/rs:fit:3840:0:0:0\/plain\/https:\/\/cdn.decrypt.co\/wp-content\/themes\/decrypt-media\/assets\/images\/aleo\/mobile.png@webp\"><\/p>\n<p><\/a><\/div>\n<p><span>Zcash\u2019s rise can be attributed to a \u201cperfect storm of catalysts,\u201d including the upcoming November halving, renewed interest in privacy coins amid rising surveillance concerns, and a viral $10,000 price call from Arthur Hayes, Shivam Thakral, CEO of BuyUCoin, told <\/span><i><span>Decrypt<\/span><\/i><span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The halving is expected to slash the miner&#8217;s block reward by half, from 3.125 to 1.5625 ZEC, on November 18.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Drivers that initially triggered a volatile breakout in the first week of October included <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/decrypt.co\/342510\/insurance-against-bitcoin-privacy-coin-zcash-surges-63-3-year-high\" target=\"_blank\"><span>endorsements<\/span><\/a><span> from prominent investors like Naval Ravikanth and ex-Coinbase engineer and Helius CEO Mert Mumtaz.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Grayscale\u2019s <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grayscale.com\/funds\/grayscale-zcash-trust\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow external noopener\"><span>decision<\/span><\/a><span> to allow eligible investors to gain exposure to the ZEC token has helped push the token\u2019s uptrend in the second half of this month, <\/span><i><span>Decrypt<\/span><\/i><span> previously <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/decrypt.co\/343493\/zcash-extends-october-rally-whats-driving-the-surge\" target=\"_blank\"><span>reported<\/span><\/a><span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Renewed interest in privacy tokens has also lifted the broader sector, with Monero and Dash gaining 9.1% and 12.5%, respectively, over the past week as traders rotate into older, anonymity-focused assets.<\/p>\n<p><span>&#8220;Privacy is back in focus,&#8221;
