{"id":49591,"date":"2025-09-29T12:23:15","date_gmt":"2025-09-29T05:23:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hbbgroup.net\/bitcoin-etfs-end-four-week-streak-on-quarter-end-rebalancing-whats-next\/"},"modified":"2025-09-29T12:23:15","modified_gmt":"2025-09-29T05:23:15","slug":"bitcoin-etfs-end-four-week-streak-on-quarter-end-rebalancing-whats-next","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hbbgroup.net\/zh\/bitcoin-etfs-end-four-week-streak-on-quarter-end-rebalancing-whats-next\/","title":{"rendered":"Bitcoin ETFs End Four-Week Streak on Quarter-End Rebalancing: What\u2019s Next?"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<div>\n<h4 color=\"#333\">In brief<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw $902.5 million in outflows last week, ending a four-week streak of inflows.<\/li>\n<li>Fidelity\u2019s FBTC lost $300.4 million Friday, followed by $37.3 million from BlackRock\u2019s IBIT.<\/li>\n<li>One expert cited profit-taking and portfolio rebalancing, though long-term institutional adoption remains intact.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><span>U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds turned red last week, ending a four-week streak of inflows as this year\u2019s third quarter comes to a close.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Last week saw $902.50 million in netflows, marking a more than 30-day low that was largely attributed to Friday\u2019s outflow of $418.25 million, SoSoValue data shows.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Fidelity\u2019s FBTC product saw the largest outflow on Friday, totalling up to $300.41 million, followed closely by $37.25 million from BlackRock\u2019s IBIT.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>It&#8217;s mainly due to a \u201cfunction of profit-taking and portfolio rebalancing as we approach quarter-end,\u201d Shawn Young, chief analyst of MEXC Research, told <\/span><i><span>Decrypt<\/span><\/i><span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Still, Young believes there\u2019s more room to run, pointing to how the products are being \u201cactively traded as part of mainstream portfolio management.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cThe long-term trajectory of institutional adoption remains intact,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Bitcoin has struggled to regain the momentum it experienced in mid-August, when the asset reached a new all-time high just above $124,000.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Bitcoin\u2019s September returns remain positive for the month at roughly 3.2% despite hitting a low of $108,600 last week. The world&#8217;s largest crypto has rebounded on the day, up slightly by more than 2% to $111,800, according to CoinGecko data.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The lack of follow-through from sellers demonstrates resilience in absorbing pressure, Young said, noting that Bitcoin is in a state of consolidation, not weakness.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cThe market is essentially waiting for a clearer macro signal, and this can be from the Fed, U.S. government policy, or liquidity trends before making its next decisive move.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>And with Bitcoin typically returning more than 50% in the fourth quarter during past bull runs, the mood remains optimistic.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Young expects \u201cheightened volatility\u201d and a potential for \u201ctrend-setting moves\u201d in the coming months, characterized by renewed momentum and opportunities for investors to build on their existing positions.<\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<h3>Daily Debrief Newsletter<\/h3>\n<p>Start every day with the top news stories right now, plus original features, a podcast, videos and more.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In brief U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw $902.5 million in outflows last week, ending a four-week streak of inflows.
