Source: Cointelegraph\/TradingView<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Reacting, market participants agreed that the course was now set for a key risk-asset tailwind event: the Federal Reserve <a data-ct-non-breakable=\"null\" href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/news\/btc-vs-very-bearish-gold-breakout-5-things-bitcoin-this-week\" title=\"null\">cutting interest rates<\/a> at its Sept. 17 meeting.<\/p>\n<p>Data from CME Group\u2019s <a data-ct-non-breakable=\"null\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cmegroup.com\/markets\/interest-rates\/cme-fedwatch-tool.html\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"null\">FedWatch Tool<\/a> underscored the likelihood of such an outcome.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis marks the 2nd lowest jobs report number since July 2021,\u201d trading resource The Kobeissi Letter wrote in part of a <a data-ct-non-breakable=\"null\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/KobeissiLetter\/status\/1963943227561537958\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"null\">thread on X<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote data-ct-non-breakable=\"undefined\"><p>\u201cThe labor market is rapidly deteriorating.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" alt src=\"https:\/\/s3.cointelegraph.com\/uploads\/2025-09\/01991a49-e48f-7541-a62a-1221d57a0f29\" title><figcaption><em>Fed target rate probabilities for September FOMC meeting (screenshot). Popular trader Daan Crypto Trades flagged the 200-period simple (SMA) and exponential (EMA) moving averages on four-hour time frames.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe 4H 200MA &#038; EMA are generally seen as a good momentum indicator for the short to mid timeframe trend. These have both acted as resistance for the past few weeks and are now being tested again,\u201d part of an X post explained.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" alt src=\"https:\/\/s3.cointelegraph.com\/uploads\/2025-09\/01991a4c-3014-7258-8e37-3364731a12af\" title><figcaption><em>BTC\/USDT perpetual futures four-hour chart.
