Anchorage, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.anchorage.com\/insights\/anchorage-digital-custody-support-for-starknet\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"https:\/\/www.anchorage.com\/insights\/anchorage-digital-custody-support-for-starknet\">offering<\/a> STRK custodian services since January, is expanding the token\u2019s utility.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnchorage Digital has a long-standing relationship with Starknet and now is opening the door to institutional custody and staking of STRK,\u201d the company <a data-ct-non-breakable=\"null\" href=\"https:\/\/www.anchorage.com\/insights\/anchorage-digital-bank-becomes-first-qualified-custodian-offer-institutional-grade-custody-staking-support-starknet\" rel=\"https:\/\/www.anchorage.com\/insights\/anchorage-digital-bank-becomes-first-qualified-custodian-offer-institutional-grade-custody-staking-support-starknet\" target=\"https:\/\/www.anchorage.com\/insights\/anchorage-digital-bank-becomes-first-qualified-custodian-offer-institutional-grade-custody-staking-support-starknet\" title=\"https:\/\/www.anchorage.com\/insights\/anchorage-digital-bank-becomes-first-qualified-custodian-offer-institutional-grade-custody-staking-support-starknet\">said<\/a> in a statement. <\/p>\n<p>Starknet is a layer-2 scaling network built on Ethereum that uses zero-knowledge proofs  for transactions. The feature has been gaining traction as institutions join the crypto space. <\/p>\n<p>Switzerland\u2019s Sygnum Bank became the first regulated bank to <a data-ct-non-breakable=\"null\" href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/news\/sygnum-becomes-first-bank-in-the-world-to-offer-eth2-staking\" title=\"null\">launch Ethereum staking<\/a> in 2021, while the Nomura-backed Komainu rolled out custody for <a data-ct-non-breakable=\"null\" href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/news\/ethereum-staking-institutional-demand-lido-steth\" title=\"null\">Lido\u2019s staked Ether<\/a> (<a href=\"http:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/ethereum-price\">ETH<\/a>) in markets including Dubai and Jersey in 2025, targeting institutions that needed a compliant option.<\/p>\n<p>In July, the Liquid Collective consortium introduced LsSOL, <a data-ct-non-breakable=\"null\" href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/news\/liquid-collective-lssol-solana-etf-institutional-demand\" title=\"null\">a liquid staking token<\/a> for Solana.
