BENGALURU — Washington’s tariff war is taking a toll on India’s software exporters as clients drive a harder bargain on fees and delay projects amid a tepid business environment.

These issues stymied growth at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), India’s largest information technology company, in the April-June quarter, with revenues coming in at $7.42 billion — 0.6% lower than the previous quarter.
