TOKYO — Artificial intelligence is crucial to the development of autonomous driving and in-vehicle entertainment, the head of a Sony-Honda joint venture said as the release of its first electric vehicle in the U.S. approaches.
Sony Honda Mobility (SHM) was set up in 2022 and is attempting to stand out with AI by combining the companies’ respective strengths in automobiles and entertainment in what it calls “mobility entertainment.”
