TOKYO — Japanese construction company Taisei will acquire Toyo Construction by buying all of its shares through a takeover bid or other transaction, Nikkei has learned.
Acquisition likely to be the largest buyout in country’s construction industry
The combined revenues of Taisei and Toyo Construction will be about 2.32 trillion yen ($15.7 billion) for the financial year ended in March, which is nearly that of Obayashi, Japan’s second-largest construction company. (Source photos by Kaisuke Ohta)
