TOKYO — The Japanese government will soon reach a memorandum of understanding with leading wind turbine manufacturer Vestas, Nikkei has learned, in hopes of enticing the Danish company to start investing and producing blades in Japan.
Major Japanese steelmaker Nippon Steel will sign a separate MOU with Vestas.
