He formerly served as a senior defense analyst at RAND Corp. and the daily intelligence briefer to the assistant secretary of defense for Asian and Pacific security affairs at the Department of Defense.
On Feb. 13, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi became just the fourth foreign leader to visit the White House to meet with President Donald Trump.
