NEW TAIPEI, Taiwan — Foxlink, a longtime provider of components to Apple, is looking to ride the artificial intelligence boom to transform itself into an AI robotic software supplier by 2030, a company executive told Nikkei Asia.
The company hopes the move will shield it from the volatile consumer electronics industry and geopolitical uncertainties, said Freddy Kuo, chairman of Foxlink’s newly established subsidiary Sync Robotic.
