Sporting goods maker Li-Ning teams up with creator of robot that finished half-marathon

DALIAN, China — Li-Ning is partnering with a humanoid-robot startup to help the Chinese sporting goods maker collect data for developing products.

Li-Ning and the Beijing Innovation Center of Humanoid Robotics recently signed an agreement under which they opened a sports science research facility in Beijing this month.
