SAO PAULO/BRASILIA — Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met in Brasilia on Tuesday, agreeing to boost bilateral trade by 70% to $20 billion over the next five years and increase defense cooperation.
Modi made an official visit to the Brazilian capital after attending a BRICS summit in Rio de Janeiro on Sunday and Monday.
