{"id":82473,"date":"2026-05-27T09:08:01","date_gmt":"2026-05-27T02:08:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hbbgroup.net\/ethereum-firm-sharplink-solana-treasury-forward-industries-joining-russell-2000-3000-indexes\/"},"modified":"2026-05-27T09:08:01","modified_gmt":"2026-05-27T02:08:01","slug":"ethereum-firm-sharplink-solana-treasury-forward-industries-joining-russell-2000-3000-indexes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hbbgroup.net\/vi\/ethereum-firm-sharplink-solana-treasury-forward-industries-joining-russell-2000-3000-indexes\/","title":{"rendered":"Ethereum Firm Sharplink, Solana Treasury Forward Industries Joining Russell 2000, 3000 Indexes"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<div>\n<h4 color=\"#333\">In brief<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Ethereum treasury firm Sharplink and Solana treasury Forward Industries will be included in the Russell 3000 and 2000 indexes.<\/li>\n<li>The firms join BitMine Immersion Technologies as the latest crypto treasuries to be included with the reconstitution of indexes.<\/li>\n<li>Shares in Sharplink dipped on Tuesday, while FWDI shares saw a small bump. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><span>Publicly traded <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/decrypt.co\/resources\/what-is-ethereum-quickly-explained-four-minute-guide\" target=\"_blank\"><span>Ethereum<\/span><\/a><span> treasury firm <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/decrypt.co\/322940\/meet-sharplink-microstrategy-ethereum\" target=\"_blank\"><span>Sharplink<\/span><\/a><span> will join the Russell 2000 and 3000 indexes when their semiannual restructure goes into effect on June 29, the firm announced on Tuesday.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The firm\u2019s index inclusion follows that of peer and rival Ethereum treasury firm BitMine Immersion Technologies, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/decrypt.co\/368971\/tom-lee-iquidity-ethereum-bitmine-russell-index\" target=\"_blank\"><span>which will also be included in the Russell 1000 index<\/span><\/a><span>\u2014which tracks America\u2019s top 1,000 companies by market cap.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cJoining the Russell 2000 and Russell 3000 is a meaningful validation of Sharplink&#8217;s institutional-grade ETH treasury strategy and we believe will broaden SBET&#8217;s shareholder base while strengthening our access to capital markets,\u201d said the firm\u2019s CEO Joseph Chalom in a statement.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The firm, which holds 874,351 ETH valued around $1.8 billion, is currently trading at a discount to its Ethereum holdings with a market cap of around $1.22 billion as of the end of the trading day Tuesday, according to data from Yahoo Finance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Another crypto treasury firm, the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/decrypt.co\/resources\/what-is-solana-a-scalable-decentralized-network-for-dapps\" target=\"_blank\"><span>Solana<\/span><\/a><span>-focused Forward Industries, also will be reconstituted into the Russell 2000 and 3000 indexes, the firm announced.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The medical design firm turned Solana <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/decrypt.co\/339463\/solana-first-billion-dollar-publicly-traded-treasury-forward-industries-6-8m-sol\" target=\"_blank\"><span>accumulator purchased $1.58 billion worth of SOL<\/span><\/a><span> last year at an average price of around $232 per SOL. Now, though, SOL is trading at just $83.78\u2014a dip of 64% since the firm\u2019s massive purchase.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>As a result, its Solana holdings are now valued around $588 million, substantially more than its current market cap of $350 million. At that valuation, the firm is about 2.4 times <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lseg.com\/en\/ftse-russell\/russell-reconstitution\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow external noopener\"><span>larger than the Russell 2000\u2019s smallest market cap<\/span><\/a><span> member, per the index fund\u2019s website.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The firms\u2019 respective inclusions in the Russell Indexes places them inside a basket of U.S. indexes with more than $12.2 trillion in benchmarks or investments.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cWe believe index inclusion will expand our shareholder base, improve trading liquidity, and increase visibility among long-term institutional investors,\u201d said Forward Industries CEO Ryan Navi in a statement.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Shares in the firms have reacted differently amid the news, with shares in Sharplink (SBET) dipped around 0.8<\/span>% on Tuesday to $6.18 per share.
