In 2024, the Fairshake PAC <a title=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/news\/crypto-industry-lobbying-us-elections\" href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/news\/crypto-industry-lobbying-us-elections\">spent more than $130 million<\/a> in media buys in congressional races, possibly influencing the outcomes in key battlegrounds like the US Senate seat for Ohio.<\/p>\n<p>According to the <a title=\"https:\/\/www.fec.gov\/press\/resources-journalists\/political-action-committees-pacs\/\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fec.gov\/press\/resources-journalists\/political-action-committees-pacs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">FEC<\/a>, super PACs may \u201creceive unlimited contributions from individuals, corporations, labor unions and other <a title=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/learn\/what-is-a-pac\" href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/learn\/what-is-a-pac\" target=\"_self\" rel>PACs<\/a> for the purpose of financing independent expenditures and other independent political activity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In addition to its only reported expenditure since the Fellowship PAC\u2019s statement of organization filed in 2025, Fellowship <a title=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Fellowship_PAC\/status\/2042284327145226460\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Fellowship_PAC\/status\/2042284327145226460\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">posted<\/a> endorsements for candidates to its X account on Thursday, signaling support for Republicans in races across five states.
