However, crypto investor and entrepreneur Ted Pillows <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/TedPillows\/status\/2005694553429332477?s=20\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">noted<\/a> in an X post on Monday the selloff has tapered off.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLong-term holders have stopped selling Bitcoin for the first time since July 2025. Citing CryptoQuant data, analysts at crypto investor newsletter Milk Road <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/MilkRoad\/status\/2005608330904096880?s=20\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">said<\/a> large holders have added around 120,000 Ether (<a href=\"http:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/ethereum-price\">ETH<\/a>) since Dec.26.<\/p>\n<p data-ct-non-breakable=\"undefined\">\u201cAddresses holding 1,000+ ETH now control roughly 70% of supply, a share that has been rising since late 2024. If this behavior continues, the market may not fully be pricing in where the smart money expects Ethereum to go next,\u201d they said.<\/p>\n<p><template data-ct-widget=\"buzzsprout\" data-buzzsprout-podcast-id=\"2040516\" data-buzzsprout-episode-id=\"18304599\"><\/template><\/p>\n<p>Garrett Jin, former CEO of the <a href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/press-releases\/bitforex-completes-over-50-of-user-withdrawals-sets-kyc-deadline-in-november-2025-update\" rel=\"sponsored\" target=\"_self\" title=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/press-releases\/bitforex-completes-over-50-of-user-withdrawals-sets-kyc-deadline-in-november-2025-update\">now-defunct crypto exchange BitForex<\/a>, also <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/GarrettBullish\/status\/2005850761276555496?s=20\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">predicted<\/a> more flows are likely incoming into Bitcoin and Ether as investors shift from silver, palladium, and platinum which have been on a tear lately.<\/p>\n<p data-ct-non-breakable=\"undefined\">\u201cThe short squeeze in metals is over as expected. Capital is beginning to flow into crypto,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<h2>Traders cautious after Christmas weekend FUD<\/h2>\n<p data-ct-non-breakable=\"undefined\">Bitcoin has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coingecko.com\/en\/coins\/bitcoin\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">traded<\/a> between $86,744 and $90,064 over the last seven days. Analysts at crypto market intelligence platform Santiment <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/santimentfeed\/status\/2005647405241503882\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">said<\/a> a spike in fear, uncertainty and doubt came at the same time as prices moved higher around Christmas, as markets often move in the opposite direction of trader sentiment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFollowing the conclusion of Christmas weekend, Bitcoin surged back above $90K and then fell below $87K,\u201d Santiment analysts said, adding that \u201cthe rise came while FUD was becoming very high, as usual. CoinGlass\u2019s Coinbase Bitcoin Premium Index has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coinglass.com\/pro\/i\/coinbase-bitcoin-premium-index\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">remained<\/a> in the negative.
