XRP is down more than 13% over the past month.<\/p>\n<p>The Franklin XRP ETF (<a href=\"https:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/quote\/XRPZ\/\" target=\"_blank\">XRPZ<\/a>)\u00a0 listed on the New York Stock Exchange Arca on Monday. It rose 8.7% from its starting price of $22.60, according to Yahoo Finance.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday, XRP and other major digital assets recaptured ground lost over the past six weeks as crypto markets slumped.\u00a0 Bitcoin is still recovering from a dip to $82,175\u2013its lowest level since early April\u2013and Ethereum is working its way back from having dipped to a four-month low below $2,700 last week, according to CoinGecko.<\/p>\n<p>Franklin Templeton\u2019s new fund is meant to mirror the performance of XRP as measured by the New York Variant of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cfbenchmarks.com\/data\/indices\/XRPUSD_NY\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow external noopener\">CME CF XRP-Dollar Reference Rate<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cXRPZ offers investors a convenient and regulated way to access a digital asset that plays a foundational role in global settlement infrastructure, through the transparency and oversight of an ETF,\u201d David Mann, head of ETF product and capital markets at Franklin Templeton said in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businesswire.com\/news\/home\/20251124259829\/en\/Franklin-Templeton-Launches-Franklin-XRP-ETF-XRPZ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow external noopener\">press release<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s been a big day for XRP funds. Just this morning <a href=\"https:\/\/decrypt.co\/349843\/grayscale-dogecoin-xrp-etfs-flurry-altcoin-fund-debuts\" target=\"_blank\">Grayscale<\/a> uplisted its XRP and Dogecoin funds on the same exchange. The new ETFs will trade under GXRP and GDOG, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The uplisting means that the funds already existed, but weren\u2019t true spot ETFs. Like the <a href=\"https:\/\/decrypt.co\/resources\/gbtc-everything-you-need-to-know-about-the-grayscale-bitcoin-trust\" target=\"_blank\">Grayscale Bitcoin Trust<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/decrypt.co\/343051\/grayscale-ethereum-etfs-first-us-add-staking\" target=\"_blank\">Grayscale Ethereum Trust<\/a> before them, the firm\u2019s altcoin funds were converted into true spot ETFs.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, fund issuer <a href=\"https:\/\/decrypt.co\/348536\/canary-xrp-etf-hot-start-good-shot-breaking-record-analyst\" target=\"_blank\">Canary unveiled an XRP ETF<\/a>.
