{"id":53984,"date":"2025-11-19T09:45:28","date_gmt":"2025-11-19T02:45:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hbbgroup.net\/bitcoins-november-average-gains-based-on-skewed-numbers-analysts\/"},"modified":"2025-11-19T09:45:28","modified_gmt":"2025-11-19T02:45:28","slug":"bitcoins-november-average-gains-based-on-skewed-numbers-analysts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hbbgroup.net\/vi\/bitcoins-november-average-gains-based-on-skewed-numbers-analysts\/","title":{"rendered":"Bitcoin\u2019s November average gains based on \u2018skewed\u2019 numbers: Analysts"},"content":{"rendered":"<div data-v-0ccfa88e>\n<p data-ct-non-breakable=\"undefined\">Analysts have questioned whether November deserves its reputation as Bitcoin\u2019s historically \u201cstrongest month\u201d after the cryptocurrency dropped 10% over the past seven days and briefly sank below $90,000.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHistorical averages suggest strength, but those numbers are skewed and the current backdrop is anything but normal,\u201d James Harris, the CEO of crypto yield provider Tesseract, told Cointelegraph.<\/p>\n<p>Harris said that while the break below the long-term average is noteworthy, it is \u201cnot the full picture.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bitcoin (<a href=\"http:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/bitcoin-price\">BTC<\/a>) is down 15.37% since the start of the month and is on track for its worst November since 2019, when it closed the month down 17.27%, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coinglass.com\/today\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">according<\/a> to CoinGlass.\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure>    <img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin Price\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.cointelegraph.com\/uploads\/2025-11\/019a9925-4bf3-7937-9bc2-91abdc0a47fa\" title><figcaption><em>Bitcoin ended 3.69% down in October. Source: <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.coinglass.com\/today\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"https:\/\/www.coinglass.com\/today\"><em>CoinGlass<\/em><\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Bitcoin is trading up 1% over the past day at $93,290, climbing from a low of under $89,400, <a href=\"https:\/\/coinmarketcap.com\/currencies\/bitcoin\/\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">according<\/a> to CoinMarketCap.<\/p>\n<p>Harris said comparing the current market environment to previous years \u201cis not like-for-like,\u201d and noted that the US government shutdown had delayed key economic data for six weeks.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen it reopened, the backlog of information forced investors to reprice inflation and rate expectations almost overnight,\u201d he said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Confidence among market participants in a Federal Reserve rate cut in December has also plummeted to 41%, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cmegroup.com\/markets\/interest-rates\/cme-fedwatch-tool.html\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">according<\/a> to the CME FedWatch Tool.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>New Bitcoin high by year-end possible, but unlikely<\/h2>\n<p data-ct-non-breakable=\"undefined\">Harris said it\u2019s still possible for Bitcoin to reclaim momentum and push to new all-time highs before the end of the year, but he isn\u2019t betting on it.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is possible, but not something we are forecasting,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Bitcoin last reached an all-time high of $125,100 in early October, prompting traders to look toward November, historically its strongest month, for a potential continuation of the rally.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Bitcoin has seen an average return of 41.35% in November since 2013, a figure inflated by a 449% surge in 2013, which is about 277% higher than that year\u2019s second-strongest gaining month, March.<\/p>\n<h2>Bitcoin showing \u201cearly signs of stabilization\u201d<\/h2>\n<p data-ct-non-breakable=\"undefined\">Bitfinex analysts believe that the worst of Bitcoin\u2019s drawdown may be nearing an end.\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure>    <img decoding=\"async\" alt src=\"https:\/\/s3.cointelegraph.com\/uploads\/2025-11\/019a9921-7db1-778c-9195-a10d739f5ccb\" title><figcaption><em>Bitcoin is trading at $93,290 at the time of publication.
