{"id":53498,"date":"2025-11-06T13:13:38","date_gmt":"2025-11-06T06:13:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hbbgroup.net\/defi-players-launch-alliance-to-champion-ethereum-to-policymakers\/"},"modified":"2025-11-06T13:13:38","modified_gmt":"2025-11-06T06:13:38","slug":"defi-players-launch-alliance-to-champion-ethereum-to-policymakers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hbbgroup.net\/vi\/defi-players-launch-alliance-to-champion-ethereum-to-policymakers\/","title":{"rendered":"DeFi players launch alliance to champion Ethereum to policymakers"},"content":{"rendered":"<div data-v-0ccfa88e>\n<p>Major Ethereum stakeholders have banded together to launch the Ethereum Protocol Advocacy Alliance, focused on coordinating \u201cpolicy efforts\u201d and educating lawmakers on the ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p>The Ethereum Protocol Advocacy Alliance was <a data-ct-non-breakable=\"null\" href=\"https:\/\/paragraph.com\/@epaa\/announcing-ethereum-protocol-advocacy-alliance\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">announced<\/a> on Tuesday, with the EPAA emphasizing the importance of establishing the group to counter the apparent \u201coutsized influence\u201d that centralized crypto entities had in policymaking.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis imbalance has often left the principles and technologies underpinning onchain infrastructure misunderstood or overlooked,\u201d said the EPAA.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The alliance comprises several prominent names in decentralized finance, including Aave Labs, Aragon, Curve, Lido Labs Foundation, Spark Foundation, The Graph Foundation and the Uniswap Foundation.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote data-ct-non-breakable=\"undefined\"><p>\u201cTogether, we secure over $100 billion in assets through open, non-custodial protocols that operate without intermediaries.
