Decentralized finance (DeFi) analytics platform DefiLlama is delisting perpetual futures volume data for the Aster decentralized exchange platform (DEX) due to data integrity concerns, according to 0xngmi, a pseudonymous co-founder of DeFiLlama.<\/p>\n

Trading volume on Aster, which is linked to CZ<\/a>, co-founder of the Binance crypto exchange, is now \u201cmirroring Binance Perp volumes almost exactly,\u201d 0xngmi said<\/a>, adding that the correlation ratio between Binance and Aster trading volumes is about 1. He continued:<\/p>\n

\u201cAster doesn’t make it possible to get lower-level data, such as who is making and filling orders, so until we can get that data to verify if there’s wash trading, Aster perpetual volumes will be delisted.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
