The team said his tokens would not be released.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTLDR is, they stole my money,\u201d Skvorc wrote. \u201cAnd because it\u2019s the @POTUS [The president of the United States] family, I can\u2019t do anything about it. This is the new age mafia. There is no one to complain to, no one to argue with, no one to sue.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In response to another user, Skvorc <a data-ct-non-breakable=\"null\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/bitfalls\/status\/1964224647055937918\" title=\"null\">claimed<\/a> that he is one of six investors who were subject to 100% token lockups from the beginning. \u201cIt was not \u2018high risk\u2019 to accept money from this address, but it is high risk to unlock owed money into it,\u201d he wrote. <\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" alt src=\"https:\/\/s3.cointelegraph.com\/uploads\/2025-09\/01991ec0-dc9a-7fb0-bb00-4b2208528303\" title><figcaption><em>Bruno claims WLFI stole his funds. Onchain sleuth ZachXBT chimed in, explaining that automated tools often flag addresses as \u201chigh risk\u201d for trivial or incorrect reasons, including interacting with DeFi contracts or exchanges.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI helped a team manually review addresses for a presale because popular compliance tools labeled them high risk due to unrelated activity several hops away,\u201d ZachXBT said. \u201cThese tools are deeply flawed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In Skvorc\u2019s case, the flags were traced to a past transaction via <a href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/explained\/what-is-tornado-cash-and-why-did-it-get-into-trouble\" rel target=\"_self\" title=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/explained\/what-is-tornado-cash-and-why-did-it-get-into-trouble\">crypto mixer Tornado Cash<\/a>, indirect links to <a href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/news\/sanctioned-exchange-garantex-previously-had-a-contingency-plan-ahead-of-enforcement-actions\" rel target=\"_self\" title=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/news\/sanctioned-exchange-garantex-previously-had-a-contingency-plan-ahead-of-enforcement-actions\">sanctioned entities like Garantex<\/a> and Netex24, and a previous interaction with a now-blacklisted dashboard.<\/p>\n<p>Based in Croatia, Skvorc is a blockchain developer who worked on <a href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/learn\/articles\/ethereum-upgrades-a-beginners-guide-to-eth-2-0\" rel target=\"_self\" title=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/learn\/articles\/ethereum-upgrades-a-beginners-guide-to-eth-2-0\">Ethereum 2.0<\/a>. His wallet was blacklisted after blockchain trackers flagged a $9 million transaction, triggering accusations that he had started selling.<\/p>\n<p><template data-ct-widget=\"buzzsprout\" data-buzzsprout-podcast-id=\"2040516\" data-buzzsprout-episode-id=\"17793750\"><\/template><\/p>\n<p>In a post on X, Sun called the freeze \u201cunreasonable\u201d and urged World Liberty Financial to unlock his tokens.
