JAKARTA — Indonesia’s automotive industry is pushing for more exports as it struggles to offset continued declines in domestic sales as purchasing power and the economy slows.
The country, the second largest car producer in Southeast Asia after Thailand, exported 233,648 completely built-up automobiles from January to June, a 7% increase from the same period last year.
