PALO ALTO, California — Born in a remote village in the eastern Indian state of Bihar, where his house at times lacked toilets and running water, Bipul Sinha was urged by his father, who had failed in business, to study diligently as a path to success. He is now the CEO and co-founder of Rubrik, a cybersecurity firm in the U.S. worth over $16 billion.
“The day I came to America, I thought, this is the place that gets me,” said Sinha, reflecting on his journey to the U.S. 28 years ago. “This is what is going to be my destiny, this country is where I’m going to go build my life.”
