BURIRAM PROVINCE, Thailand/HANOI — Despite the ceasefire agreed on between Thailand and Cambodia, people who fled the violence have little faith that the truce will hold long enough for them to return home.
The ceasefire that started on Tuesday calls for a halt to the movement of soldiers and prohibits attacks on civilians. The agreement follows full-scale fighting that erupted in disputed border territory July 24.
