NEW YORK — In the heart of the Indian community on the East Coast stands a massive white building that resembles a castle and symbolizes the rise of the Indian diaspora in the U.S.
The site near Princeton, New Jersey, is about an hour south of New York on the Interstate 95 highway, the main artery of the Eastern Seaboard. There, the BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham temple opened in 2023 and is nearly complete.
