Silver prices (XAG/USD) rose on Tuesday, according to FXStreet data. Silver trades at $85.74 per troy ounce, up 0.68% from the $85.17 it cost on Monday.
Silver prices have increased by 20.62% since the beginning of the year.
The Gold/Silver ratio, which shows the number of ounces of Silver needed to equal the value of one ounce of Gold, stood at 53.59 on Tuesday, down from 53.94 on Monday.
