NURBURG, Germany — Toyota Motor competed in the Nurburgring 24-hour endurance race for the first time in six years over the weekend, finishing 113 laps of 25.4 kilometers each, with Chairman Akio Toyoda himself driving in parts.
The Nurburgring circuit, in western Germany’s Nurburg, is characterized by elevation differences of about 300 meters and sharp corners. It is said to be difficult to complete.
