KANANASKIS, Canada — Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba met with U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday on the sidelines of the Group of Seven summit here, seeking a reassessment of American tariffs on Japan and emphasizing a mutually beneficial relationship.
After the bilateral talks, Ishiba told reporters, “There are still some points on which the two sides do not see things the same way. We have not yet reached an agreement on the package as a whole.”
