NEW DELHI — India and Canada on Wednesday agreed to normalize ties after a nearly two-year hiatus and to appoint new top diplomats in each other’s capitals.
The announcement about this major diplomatic breakthrough was made following a meeting between Prime Ministers Narendra Modi and Mark Carney on the sidelines of the Group of Seven summit in Kananaskis, Canada.
