        "rendered": "<div data-v-43e640e6>\n<p>Ether treasury company ETHZilla is looking to raise another $350 million through new convertible bonds, with funds marked for more Ether purchases and generating yield through investments in the ecosystem.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>ETHZilla chairman and CEO McAndrew Rudisill <a data-ct-non-breakable=\"null\" href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/ethzilla-announces-350-million-add-on-convertible-debenture-investment-and-provides-business-update-302562888.html\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"null\">said<\/a> on Monday that the company\u2019s strategy is to deploy Ether (<a href=\"http:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/ethereum-price\">ETH<\/a>) in \u201ccash-flowing assets\u201d on the Ethereum network through <a data-ct-non-breakable=\"null\" href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/learn\/articles\/a-beginners-guide-on-blockchain-layer-2-scaling-solutions\" title=\"null\">layer-2 protocols<\/a> and tokenizing real-world assets.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote data-ct-non-breakable=\"undefined\"><p>\u201cWe believe our business model is highly scalable, with significant fixed operating leverage and recurring positive cash flow.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>A growing number of digital asset companies are moving past simply holding crypto and looking to generate yields through active participation in the ecosystem, which <a data-ct-non-breakable=\"null\" href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/magazine\/eth-ethereum-treasury-firms-could-spark-defi-summer-2-0-race-for-yields\/\" title=\"null\">crypto executives told Cointelegraph in August<\/a>, could help spark a <a data-ct-non-breakable=\"null\" href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/news\/defi-boom-bigger-defi-summer-september-dydx-foundation\" title=\"null\">DeFi Summer 2.0<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>ETHZilla is already earning tokens\u00a0<\/h2>\n<p>The Ether treasury company has already earned 1.5 million in <a data-ct-non-breakable=\"null\" href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/explained\/differences-between-tokens-coins-and-virtual-currencies-explained\" title=\"null\">unnamed tokens<\/a>, according to the company\u2019s disclosed financials through its participation in the ecosystem.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cETHZilla continues to actively deploy capital across the Ethereum ecosystem, strategically supporting a diverse range of protocols that drive innovation, long-term network growth, and differentiated yield,\u201d the company said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><template data-ct-widget=\"buzzsprout\" data-buzzsprout-podcast-id=\"2040516\" data-buzzsprout-episode-id=\"17633842\"><\/template><\/p>\n<p>It also previously raised $156.5 million through convertible bonds, which, combined with the fresh $350 million, leaves the company with over $506 million in its war chest.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>If it uses the entire raise for more Ether purchases, ETHZilla could stack another 120,000 tokens and add to their stash of 102,000, worth more than $428 million.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>ETHZilla, the eighth-largest Ether treasury company\u00a0<\/h2>\n<p>Formerly Life Sciences Corp, a Nasdaq-listed biotechnology company, it <a data-ct-non-breakable=\"null\" href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/news\/down-99-biotech-firm-180-life-sciences-pivots-crypto-eth\" title=\"null\">rebranded as ETHZilla Corporation in July<\/a> to pivot heavily into Ether investment.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>ETHZilla is the eighth largest Ether treasury company out of 69 listed, which combined, <a data-ct-non-breakable=\"null\" href=\"https:\/\/www.strategicethreserve.xyz\/\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"null\">hold <\/a>5.25 million tokens, worth over $22 billion and representing 4.25% of the circulating supply.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.cointelegraph.com\/uploads\/2025-09\/01997468-ec48-7c70-ba04-ce536289624f\" title><figcaption><em>ETHZilla is the eighth-largest Ether treasury company with over 102,000 tokens.
