        "rendered": "<div data-v-43e640e6>\n<p>Hong Kong-based HashKey Group said it launched a $500 million investment fund targeting digital asset treasuries (DATs), initially focusing on exposure to Bitcoin and Ether&#8217;s price performance.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0fund\u00a0is structured as a perpetual, institutional-only vehicle allowing regular subscriptions and redemptions, similar to an open-ended crypto hedge fund, HashKey said in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/hashkey-unveils-dat-strategy-pioneering-the-institutional-bridge-between-tradfi-and-crypto-302548728.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/hashkey-unveils-dat-strategy-pioneering-the-institutional-bridge-between-tradfi-and-crypto-302548728.html\">statement<\/a>. Unlike a passive exchange-traded fund (ETF), HashKey\u2019s fund is designed to invest in projects and companies deploying DAT strategies. <\/p>\n<p>The launch comes after Nasdaq announced enhanced scrutiny of listed companies\u2019 crypto holdings on Thursday, a move HashKey framed as signaling a \u201csurvival of the fittest\u201d stage for the industry.<\/p>\n<p>HashKey said the DAT initiative is part of a broader effort to bridge traditional finance and crypto assets.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCompared with passive ETF products, DAT is more aligned with the around-the-clock, high-volatility nature of the crypto market\u201d the company said. <\/p>\n<p><template data-ct-widget=\"buzzsprout\" data-buzzsprout-podcast-id=\"2040516\" data-buzzsprout-episode-id=\"17715136\"><\/template><\/p>\n<p>HashKey has over HK$12 billion ($1.5 billion) in clients\u2019 assets under management, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/pulse\/hashkey-group-quarterly-report-q2-2025-hashkey-digital-asset-group-gaqxc\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/pulse\/hashkey-group-quarterly-report-q2-2025-hashkey-digital-asset-group-gaqxc\">according<\/a> to its latest quarterly report. <\/p>\n<p>The company also operates licensed exchanges, ETFs and an Ethereum layer-2 chain.
