        "rendered": "<div data-v-43e640e6>\n<p>CleanCore Solutions, a Nebraska-based maker of aqueous ozone cleaning systems, saw its shares plunge over 60% Tuesday after announcing plans to become a Dogecoin treasury company.<\/p>\n<p>The company <a href=\"https:\/\/www.globenewswire.com\/news-release\/2025\/09\/02\/3142693\/0\/en\/CleanCore-Solutions-NYSE-ZONE-Announces-175-000-420-Private-Placement-to-Build-the-Official-Dogecoin-Treasury-Founded-by-the-Dogecoin-Foundation-and-the-House-of-Doge-Inc.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"https:\/\/www.globenewswire.com\/news-release\/2025\/09\/02\/3142693\/0\/en\/CleanCore-Solutions-NYSE-ZONE-Announces-175-000-420-Private-Placement-to-Build-the-Official-Dogecoin-Treasury-Founded-by-the-Dogecoin-Foundation-and-the-House-of-Doge-Inc.html\">disclosed<\/a> a $175 million private placement backed by over 80 institutional and crypto-native investors, including Pantera, GSR, FalconX and Borderless.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Proceeds will be used to acquire Dogecoin (<a href=\"http:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/doge-price-index\">DOGE<\/a>) as CleanCore\u2019s primary reserve asset, with the initiative led by newly appointed board Chairman Alex Spiro, <a href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/news\/elon-musk-s-lawyer-to-chair-200m-dogecoin-treasury-fortune-reports\" rel target=\"_self\" title=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/news\/elon-musk-s-lawyer-to-chair-200m-dogecoin-treasury-fortune-reports\">Elon Musk\u2019s longtime attorney<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>The new DOGE treasury company is also partnering with the Dogecoin Foundation and its commercial arm, House of Doge.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the deal, Dogecoin Foundation Director Timothy Stebbing and House of Doge CEO Marco Margiotta will take board and executive roles at CleanCore, with Margiotta appointed chief investment officer. <\/p>\n<p><iframe width=\"100%\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/KlFRKMMpdmk?start=\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen loading=\"lazy\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The House of Doge and <a href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/news\/21shares-files-spot-dogecoin-etf-us-follows-bitwise-grayscale\" rel target=\"_self\" title=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/news\/21shares-files-spot-dogecoin-etf-us-follows-bitwise-grayscale\">crypto-ETF issuer 21Shares<\/a> will advise on treasury strategy and governance, including plans to explore staking-like yield opportunities and institutional investment products tied to DOGE.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBy anchoring Dogecoin with an official foundation-backed treasury strategy, we\u2019re setting a precedent for how public companies can align with foundations to build real utility around digital currency,\u201d Margiotta said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>CleanCore\u2019s stock plunged to $2.69 in early trading on Tuesday from $6.86 at Friday\u2019s close. Dogecoin Cash Inc., formerly a cannabis and telehealth company, announced in July the purchase 1 billion DOGE through its new subsidiary, Dogecoin Treasury Inc. <\/p>\n<p><template data-ct-widget=\"buzzsprout\" data-buzzsprout-podcast-id=\"2464083\" data-buzzsprout-episode-id=\"17749035\"><\/template><\/p>\n<p>In\u00a0July, Bit Origin, a former <a href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/news\/bit-origin-dogecoin-crypto-treasury-pivot\" rel target=\"_self\" title=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/news\/bit-origin-dogecoin-crypto-treasury-pivot\">Chinese pork producer that pivoted into Bitcoin mining<\/a>, announced plans to launch a Dogecoin treasury backed by up to\u00a0$500 million in equity and convertible debt financing. <\/p>\n<p>The companies have seen less than stellar results since announcing Dogecoin treasury strategies.<\/p>\n<p>Year-to-date, Spirit Blockchain Capital is\u00a0<a data-ct-non-breakable=\"null\" href=\"https:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/quote\/SPIR.CN\/\" title=\"null\">down<\/a> over 88%, and Dogecoin Cash Inc. is <a data-ct-non-breakable=\"null\" href=\"https:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/quote\/DOGP\/\" rel=\"https:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/quote\/DOGP\/\" target=\"https:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/quote\/DOGP\/\" title=\"https:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/quote\/DOGP\/\">declining<\/a> 70% over the same period.
