YOKOHAMA, Japan — Nissan Motor on Wednesday reported a net loss of 115.7 billion yen ($782 million) for the April-June fiscal first quarter, as the Japanese automaker continues its restructuring drive while grappling with a 25% automotive tariff imposed by U.S. President Donald Trump in April.
The result marks the fourth straight quarter of losses for the company and compares with a profit of 28.5 billion yen the previous year. Sales for the quarter totaled 2.7 trillion yen, down 9.7%.
