TOKYO — Japanese staffing group Recruit Holdings will lay off around 1,300 people at U.S. subsidiaries Glassdoor and Indeed, the company said Friday, amid a pivot toward artificial intelligence.
The latest round of job cuts represents about 6% of the workforce at Recruit’s human resources technology segment. This is the third consecutive year the group has announced staff reductions.
