TAIPEI — Foxconn earned more from its AI server business than from Apple-related products for the first time ever in the second quarter, an important milestone for the iPhone assembler as it attempts to diversify its earnings base.
Milestone reached as uncertainty over tariffs clouds consumer electronics segment
For the whole year, Foxconn’s AI server business is set to surpass 1 trillion New Taiwan dollars (around $33 billion), according to the company’s rotating CEO.
