TOKYO — Some market analysts are watching valuations of Asian stocks more closely, as equities have been upbeat over the past few months despite the U.S.’s global trade war.
“Equity market valuations are back to reflecting a very rosy outlook despite very few of the downside risks having gone away,” said Thomas Poullaouec, head of multiasset solutions for Asia Pacific at T. Rowe Price in Singapore. This warrants “caution should things disappoint.”
