MUMBAI — Indian authorities investigating the crash of Air India Flight 171 that killed more than 270 people are focusing on possible failures in three parts of the plane: the engines, wings and landing gear.
Thursday will mark a week since the June 12 incident in the western Indian city of Ahmedabad. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has dispatched the Air Accident Investigation Bureau and set up an investigation committee consisting of ministers.
