ISTANBUL — Turkey will export 48 fighter jets to Indonesia, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Wednesday as the nations enhance their defense ties.
“Under the framework of the agreement we signed with friend and brother Indonesia, 48 units of KAAN will be produced in Turkey and exported to Indonesia,” Erdogan said in his post on X, referring to a homegrown fighter jet.
